Chamber Music

Miriam is  passionate about Chamber Music and enjoys collaborating with like-minded musicians.

She collaborates regularly with pianist Christopher Guild. The duo have performed recitals regularly around the UK since 2014, covering repertoire from Beethoven to Britten, to their own improvisations at venues including St James Piccadilly, Penhulk Music Festival Gala Concert and Maxability Recital Series.

In 2018 and 2019 Miriam joined the highly renowned Isbilia Quartet for recitals around London performing quartets and piano quintets by Beethoven, Brahms and Shostakovich.

In 2018 Miriam premiered Piers Tattersall’s Piano Trio with the Edison Ensemble at the Warehouse Waterloo with Chris Guild (Piano) and Henry Chandler (Violin) – Video can be viewed on videos page.

This is a recording of Smetana’s Piano Trio Miriam recorded in 2012 with Bedriska Trio, which she was a founding member of from 2011-2016.

Bedriska Trio won 1st Prize in the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition 2012 and were Finalists in the Cavatina Intercollegiate Piano Trio Competition 2013 at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Between 2011-2012 Miriam was a member of TrinityGold Cello Ensemble, a nine piece cello ensemble directed by Natalia Pavlutskaya and conducted by great cellist Alexander Ivashkin. Miriam had the honour of playing one of the solo parts in a premiere of Gabriel Prokofiev’s two works for cello ensemble ‘Outta Pulsor’ and  ‘Jerk Driver’ at The Royal Festival Hall in January 2012, as part of the Prokofiev Festival. Miriam also accompanied Alexander Ivashkin at the Royal Festival Hall performance.
